Our 8th Grade Community Service Projects are off to an amazing start with a successful Thanksgiving Food Drive! Led by Litzy and Dareily, this effort gathered generous food donations for Roseland’s Ecumenical Food Pantry—just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our Cowboys truly demonstrated what it means to be caring and compassionate members of the community.

They’ve explored what each lobe controls in our bodies and even learned about the fascinating case of Phineas Gage — a story that changed what we know about the human brain forever.

Our 8th graders enjoyed a powerful Living Voices presentation entitled, “Through the Eyes of a Friend.” This moving performance brought history to life, allowing students to experience the Holocaust through the perspective of a young person who lived it. What an engaging and meaningful opportunity for our students to connect with history on a deeper level.
