Student Achievement Surges as District Leads in Growth and Performance
The Florida Department of Education has released Spring 2025 student assessment results, and the School District of Indian River County (SDIRC) is proud to report that SDIRC students outperformed the State of Florida in every assessed subject area. These results confirm that SDIRC continues to accelerate academic achievement and raise the bar for educational excellence across the Treasure Coast and beyond.
Across English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, SDIRC students not only exceeded statewide achievement rates but also demonstrated stronger year-over-year growth in nearly every content area — a clear indicator of the district’s upward momentum.
“Our students are achieving at a level that reflects the power of a strong instructional foundation, dedicated educators, and a community committed to excellence,” said Dr. David K. Moore, Superintendent of Schools. “We are not just improving. We are outperforming and outpacing the state, and we are doing so across the board.”
