Our 7th grade ELA students are wrapping up their unit on brain science by creating detailed models of the two hemispheres of the brain! They’ve explored what each lobe controls in our bodies and even learned about the fascinating case of Phineas Gage — a story that changed what we know about the human brain forever.

Our 8th graders enjoyed a powerful Living Voices presentation entitled, “Through the Eyes of a Friend.” This moving performance brought history to life, allowing students to experience the Holocaust through the perspective of a young person who lived it.
